CNC Milling
For CNC milling work, we offer both large-format EPS machining and precision aluminum machining .
Using an industrial robot arm, large EPS parts can be milled, while parts and small series in aluminium are produced using a professional CNC milling machine , equipped with an automatic tool magazine with 16 tools .

Milling methods
Depending on the dimensions, the material, the required accuracy and the application, the most suitable milling method is selected.
For large-format and lightweight applications, we use robot-controlled EPS milling , while precision milling on a professional CNC machine is used for precise aluminum parts and small series.
Both methods complement each other and enable efficient and reproducible production of models and moulds as well as functional end parts .
Robot-controlled EPS milling
For milling large EPS parts we use an ABB IRB6400 industrial robot .
This robot, weighing over 2 tons , is designed for heavy-duty industrial applications and combines high rigidity with 0.016 mm repeatability . This allows for consistent and accurate shaping, even on large parts.
Thanks to the use of long milling cutters up to 150 mm , deep shapes and complex geometries can be efficiently milled from solid EPS.
This makes robot-controlled EPS milling extremely suitable for molds, plugs, models and large-format structures .
In practice, the maximum dimensions are virtually unlimited .
Without gluing, EPS components up to 3 × 1.5 × 1.5 meters can be milled in a single piece. For larger structures, multiple EPS components can be seamlessly bonded together, with no limitations on shape or scale.
CNC milling of aluminum parts
For milling aluminum parts we use a professional CNC milling machine , equipped with a spindle power of more than 5 kW .
This machine is designed for precise and stable machining and allows you to efficiently produce both simple and complex parts.
Thanks to the automatic tool changer with 16 tools, parts can be milled fully automatically , without manual intervention. This results in high dimensional accuracy , excellent repeatability , and consistent quality, whether producing single pieces or small series .
For maximum precision and reliability , HAAS toolholders and tooling are used, which contribute to stable clamping and a high-quality surface finish.
This approach makes CNC milling in aluminium ideal for prototypes, functional parts, jigs, tooling and small series .
